Gender Corner is a platform set up at CDS level designed to provide opportunities for women and children to share their experiences and become active participants in the women empowerment programmes of Kudumbashree. Managed by two Resource Persons and 2 CDS members, it acts as a link between CDS and Snehita. Issues faced by women and children are resolved locally with the active support of Jagratha Samithis. 857 CDS's have formed gender corners and have taken initiatives in addressing issues of more than 1000 cases that have been reported.
